One Ode to Twos

If I don't post today, then I will have skipped February. Isn't that disgraceful?! The problem is, I don't really have anything to talk about... at least, not that I am ready to share with the world yet. Give me a month or so and we'll see. So, for lack of anything better, I thought I would think about things in my life that can be represented in some way or another by the number 2. Since February is the #2 month, it seemed only fitting.

1. I am the 2nd youngest child in my family.
2. I am 22 years old.
3. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
4. I have 2 home states (I claim both North Carolina and Tennessee, depending on who I am talking to.)
5. Asahikawa is the 2nd largest city on this, the 2nd largest island in Japan.
6. My parents' phone number starts with a 2, but that's the only one.
7. My SSN starts with 2, but that is also the only one.
8. I have only ever been in 2 countries.
9. I got to see my 2 best Japanese friends today, which is rare for a Tuesday.
10. I taught 2 new classes today. The first of which had 2 students.
11. I was given 2 kinds of cake in my last class today: chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake.
12. in 22 minutes, it will be 2200 hours (military time).
13. I have had 2 songs in my head all day, but they are from one album. (Tender Mercy and I Could Run Away from "Enter the Worship Circle")
14. I can sort of conversate in 2 languages.
15. I taught 2 French words during English class tonight: merci (thank you) and beaucoup (a lot/very much)
16. This is the 2nd 2/28 I have spent in Japan.
17. I have three bottles of perfume, but I can only find 2 of them.
18. My current most prized possessions are the 2 earrings my friend gave me for my one-year in Japan anniversary.
19. 2 of my friends are moving/ have moved to other countries this week, one yesterday; one tomorrow.
20. -2 degrees Celsius is about 28.4 degrees Fahrenheit. According to Yahoo! Weather, that is 2 degrees C warmer than my city is right now.
21. I currently have 2 one and a half-liter bottles in my refrigerator. (Japan doesn't sell 2-liter bottles.)
22. Including these, there are 22x2+2 2's in this post.

Can you think of any more? I am out of ideas...
